Sorry, Brian, I dont understand ....when you say a song 'drops' I think I will see a lower number but its a higher number, so shouldnt you be saying: 'rises to'.....instead of drops! lol, guess I will be learning a lesson here

Hi Angela,
When I say an album has dropped I mean it has dropped from a higher position to a lower one on the chart - position No.1 being the highest and 200 the lowest. Hope that makes it clear.

As a point of interest, Jimi Hendrix’s 'People, Hell And Angels' album enters The Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at No.2. This puts him back in the top five forty two and a half years after he died at age 27. No other artist in chart history has cracked the top five this long after his death. Elvis is in second place. 'Elvis: 2nd To None' debuted at No.3 in October 2003, a little more than 26 years after his death.Brian

It was 1,856 units short of becoming a Top 40 entry. It also re-entered the Catlog Album Chart at 6 and the Digital Album Chart at 19 selling some 11,414 units. 'Heart And Soul' entered the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at 187 for w/e 20th April, 2013 selling some 2,826 units. Total sales to date: 633,776 units. This 1995 compilation album finally debuts on the chart, giving the King his 127th chart entry. The set is selling especially well with mass merchants, as its selling for only $5 at Walmart. Elvis continues to hold the record -- by far -- for the most-charted albums in the history of the Billboard 200 chart of which 27 made the Top 10 and 10 made it to No.1(giving a total of 67 weeks in the top spot).
