Each August, Elvis fans of all ages from around the world gather in Memphis, Tennessee for Elvis Week – a commemoration of the music, magic and memories associated with the legacy of Elvis Presley. Long-time fans, and those who are new to it enjoy a full week of music, dance, sports, social and charitable events, all in an atmosphere of international friendship.
Fans say it feels like a huge family reunion they all look forward to each year. Everyone is welcome. Everyone belongs. Everyone has a great time.

Elvis Presley Birthplace The Elvis Presley Birthplace is part of the Elvis Presley Centre including the Elvis Presley Museum, Memorial Chapel and Elvis Presley Park. The museum houses a collection of long-hidden treasures from Elvis’ early life as well as his illustrious career. Themed ‘Times and Things Remembered’, the museum contains hundreds of articles of clothing and personal mementos such as motorcycle boots and a jumpsuit from Elvis’ Las Vegas act. Afternoon free for you to soak up the atmosphere of this small Mississippi town before returning to Memphis and your hotel.

During your stay you’ll enjoy a guided Elvis sightseeing tour of Memphis which includes visits to Humes High School and Sun Recording Studios. On the night of the 15th August you can join thousands of other Elvis fans from all over the globe for the candlelight vigil and, the next day, the Anniversary of Elvis’ death you’ll probably wish to return to Graceland to view the floral tributes.
Most evenings in Memphis there will be special events planned in association with Graceland. These usually include concerts, Sock Hops and discos. (Details of these events will be advised to you in due course).
